1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.c3 d5 4.Qa4 dxe4 5.Nxe5 Qd5 6.Nxc6 bxc6 7.Bc4 Qd7 8.d3?? A pusillanimous move. [ White should have every expectation of winning with 8.0-0! Nf6 ( 8...Bd6 9.Re1 Nf6 10.d3 0-0 11.dxe4 White should eventually win) 9.d3 exd3 ( 9...Be7 10.dxe4 Nxe4 11.Bxf7+ and White is winning) 10.Bxd3 Bb7 11.Qc2 Be7 12.Bf5 Qd8 13.Rd1 Qb8 14.Re1 again White is winning] 8...exd3 9.0-0 Bd6 10.Nd2 Ne7 11.Ne4 0-0 12.Rd1 Re8 13.Bg5 h6? 14.Bxh6! Nd5 15.Bxd5? [ Better to head for the win is: 15.Bxd3 gxh6 16.c4 Re6 17.cxd5 cxd5 18.Bb5 c6 19.Bxc6 Bxh2+ 20.Kxh2 Qxc6 21.Qxc6 Rxc6 22.Rxd5 Be6 23.Rd2 ] 15...Bxh2+! apparently Ljubojevic overlooked this shot! 16.Kxh2 Qxd5 17.Nf6+ gxf6 18.Qh4 Bf5 19.Qxf6 Qd6+ 20.Qxd6 With the advantage, Black could have played on. Maybe he was in time trouble? 1/2-1/2
